Dental implants offer a permanent solution for a single missing tooth, several teeth, or an entire dental arch. During an initial appointment, you will visit a specialist who will surgically place a titanium post in your jawbone. Once healed, you will return to our office where Dr. Wesley O. Lynch will place your restoration, which can consist of a dental crown, bridge, or implant-supported denture.
In addition to topping dental implants, dental crowns can be used to restore and strengthen a single damaged tooth. Crowns are commonly used to protect a tooth that has undergone root canal therapy or had a large decayed portion removed. Bridges literally bridge the gap left by missing teeth, and are supported by crowns which are placed over adjacent teeth.
We recognize that every patient visits us with a different set of circumstances and treatment goals. Whether you have experienced recent oral health trauma, or have not visited a dentist in many years, our team can design and execute a customized care plan to restore your mouth to its optimal health, comfort, and beauty.
Our practice offers a range of denture types. Traditional dentures are designed to replace a full arch of teeth, and partial dentures (also known as partials) can replace multiple missing teeth in a row. We can provide you with customized removable dentures, which rely on natural suction and dental adhesives for support, or implant-supported dentures, which offer enhanced stability and comfort.
Cavities may result in sensitivity and discomfort, and weaken the structure of your tooth. To treat a cavity, Dr. Lynch prefers tooth-colored fillings, made of composite resin, over traditional silver fillings. This allows us to match the color of the filling to your surrounding tooth, so no one will suspect you had a cavity, and you can continue to enjoy a healthy, attractive smile.
